“ Run don’t walk! The scallion pancakes are absolutely delicious. Perfect flaky, crunchy, juicy ratio. Every bite was loaded with flavor. Green tea pancakes were perfectly fluffy and the taste wasn’t overpowering, definitely trying them again. Iced Dirty Matchas w/ strawberry were perfect. 10/10 no notes. Way better than any overpriced nonsense you get anywhere else. Came here with my gf for a morning date, we maybe said two sentences (“yuuup that’s the business” and “mmmm mhm that’s delicious”) to eachother because the food was too good to stop eating. To top off the amazing food and drinks, Crystal & her parents were so sweet and charming. Definitely going to come back again and again and again… and again and again ”
“ I’ve been walking by this spot for a while now, and decided to finally check it out. My girlfriend and I each got steak, egg and cheese on a scallion pancake and we split the green tea pancakes for dessert. Everything was a 10/10! The scallion pancakes are perfectly flaky, and the cheese perfectly melty. The green tea pancakes are just the right amount of sweet, with a hint of sharpness from the green tea. We also got a couple of iced dirty matcha lattes — hers with strawberry and mine with vanilla. They use traditional Japanese matcha, and you can tell. Again, everything here was a 10/10. The food is delicious, but the family behind the counter is what makes C&B special. A true mom & pop shop, Crystal (I hope I’m spelling it correctly!!!) and her parents are so kind and so welcoming. I will be returning, and probably with everyone I know. Thank you C&B!!! ”

Yes Cindy and Brian are now retired, but their legacy lives on with the same flavors, and great services from everyone left to continue this legendary luncheonettes run. ”
